I've never gone further than intakes, exhausts, remapping, alloys, spoilers and ICE but never all on the same car. I'm currently torn between using the XM250X from my last car on this car or to drive a sub in my gaming chair. I might get some Alloys and I've been looking at strut braces and springs...

They approve because you have bought an 'economy' brand showing that you are sensible, this can easily be negated by some judicious modding. If you turn up with a loud exhaust and louder stereo their smugness will disappear :D Lower it and put on some 18" Alloys as well and they will be trying to persuade your other half to divorce you.
