Are they a legal requirement? Or can I remove them, got plans, but to carry out those plans requires removal of foglights.

pass.. they are the bulbs that come on when I press the fog light switch ;)

I think I swapped them so my indicators were a better shape or something tho ;)

Bear in mind that if your car is fitted with front fogs, they have to work to pass an MOT.

I know it sounds stupid, but I don't know how they define "fitted" - they may say that as you have a foglight switch that provides power then you've got foglights, and as the lights aren't there it's a fail.

I wouldn't have thought so, but it's worth checking. I know you can't just remove your ABS LED and pass an MOT, so it wouldn't be surprise me if there is a stoopid rule somewhere.

Just a thought.

hmm, I've got the switch but no fogs and my MOT testers are a little anal about things (I like to know everything's checked properly) and I've never had a problem.
