so here is the crack

service 4 months ago,

last saturday 0 oil
noisy tapps
oiled it up
added valve lube

no noisy tapps now,
oil level maintaining for the time being

apparrently last night shifting at high revs,
Big black cloud of smoke

later going for it through the gears,
Blue flaming in tail pipe

although it looks ace
any ideas or help would be awesome guys ?

Sounds expensive,mabe a good time to look into engine swap as discused on wed night.might not be that much more tbh,hopefuly it's not going to be bad for you.

Are you getting any unburnt oil left in the exhaust? I had a similar sounding problem on a bike, and it was piston rings. With one or more of your rings gone the oil at the bottom of the piston isn't seperated from the fuel in the top of the piston, and get sucked through the exhaust when the burnt off fuel does, and collects in the exhaust. As the exhaust heats it then smokes, and if your really running hot then its possible it'll ignite.
Piston ring changes aren't too bad to fix, but the big problem is that if you carry on using it, the remaining pistons will continue to force the broken ones up and down, and this could score the bore, and knacker it

oil consumption is down,

i think they put the wrong type of oil in to be quite honnest,

ive stuck some 15w 40 and replaced my valve seals seems to be ok now,

still running rich but im de-catted so no supprise,
i think when i get my hears sorted ill be running a remap
