i have seen a few pics of the coupes getting some interior paint jobs, some look good too. i have the gen 3 coupe, its mint inside, too much black tho, i have the silver style surround on the centre console, but i would like to spray my door handle and actual handle that you pull the door closed with (as seen in link below) the same colour dashboard silver and get same effect, does anyone know the actual colour or if anything is similar? dont want it to look out of place. Done some interior spray jobs on my old astra coupe, escort gti etc and they cam out fine, but never this sort of colour, any help b great!!!!

I ended up using Ford burgundy for my interior parts, as it was very close to my car colour, turned out to be closer than hyundai burgundy, but ive had 11 years of fade. If you do want the exact match, try ringing you're local Hyundai dealer, give them the colour code, usually stamped on a plate under the bonnet, and they should tell you.
Any plastic undercoat will do, to prep put a small amout of white spirit/thinners etc on a cloth, whipe done all the parts to be painted, and leave to evapourate, this should remove any greases/cleaning agents that will affect the paint. Don't use too much, or apply directly, as it could react with the plastic. Don't use WD40, as this will leave a protective layer over the plastic, which won't let paint set.

I sprayed my centre consol, gear surround and window switches using Ford Stardust silver or Moondust silver (Can check if you want).....matched the interior 3.5 perfectly! very tempted to do the rear speaker surrounds too. This is my interior anyway. The door pulss are OEM parts and the wondow switchs were sprayed. It was a really good colour match
