Had an F2 in for an MOT in the garage next door to work today, and after looking at the engine, it looks identical to mine. So now I'm wondering, where does the extra 35-40bhp comes from? ECU?
All 40bhp? Look at Duplemans tuning guide, these would only add to whp/throttle responsiveness, won't see 5 bhp from them.LiDL said:lightened flywheel and cams I believe..
Air filter was the same as mine (origional one anyway, not the new one), didn't look at exhaust though. If 137bhp a lie, what was it?LiDL said:air filter and exhaust too aparently
that said hyundai lied when they told us the gen 1 was 137bhp, so maybe they lied a little more with the f2 evo to give it the extra
also seems the F2 has no power gains only the F2 evo.
So Hyundai are lying about F2evo output too then? Lidls already mentioned the claimed 137bhp for an SE is too much, and the F2 evo's claimed at 175bhp. Lidl hasn't said what the actual power is, but it could well be that the F2evo isn't running that much more than 140bhp then?thedupleman said:iv just read your post again.it doesnt have 40 extra its got on average "late teens" extra-say 17-18bhp.it all comes from the cams though.they have a longer duration-they are the 1.8 cams into a 2.0
Someone got to give you moderators something to do. Thnks for the help.thedupleman said:you dont ask for much do you? mostly mitsubishi parts i believe
