Hey so i made an account here to hopefully get some info and advice on my 2009 Coupe Siii A, it's my first ever car and i've owned it for about 2 years now. I'm pretty new to cars in general but i really like this car.

I recently took it in for MOT and it failed, it needs a fairly sizable amount of work doing to get it MOT compliant i'll just post the full Major faults for anyone that might understand them, roughly 1.5-2k+ to fix everything.

• Exhaust Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (8.2.1.2 (c))
• Exhaust Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (8.2.1.2 (c))
• Exhaust noise is clearly in excess of that emitted by a similar vehicle fitted with a standard silencer in average condition (8.1.1 (a))
• Exhaust has a major leak of exhaust gases (6.1.2 (a))
• Brake lever has insufficient reserve travel (1.1.2 (a))
• Nearside Rear Shock absorbers has negligible damping effect (5.3.2 (d))
  There is also a fairly large list of minors too

I've seen that lot of the people on this forum are very experienced and passionate about Hyundai coupes and i'd love some advice from more seasoned car owners and experts to help me determine if it's worth keeping the car, making the repairs, scrapping it or what to do in this situation. Is the car sought after and worth anything or is it time to get rid.
